Before buying a used bike, check:

• Actual condition from photos and description; ask the seller for additional photos (transmission, frame close-up) if you need.
• Frame series and, if applicable, provenance documents.
• Theft history — check the bike in Stolen Bike Registry, where users from all over Europe can report their stolen bikes.

If an ad raises suspicions (unrealistic price, refusal to give details, pressure to pay outside the platform), do not complete and report it.
