Arsenal park mtb cup - army bike contest

Verde pentru Biciclete, Racing Bike Pro and Arsenal Park Transilvania are organizing, on August 3, 2014, the largest bicycle competition in Hunedoara County: Arsenal Park MTB Cup– Army Bike Contest.
“Arsenal Park MTB Cup” is the first individual cross-country competition organized in a unique location in Romania: Arsenal Park Orăştie, a tourist complex with a military specific. All cyclists from the country and abroad, passionate about cross-country, can compete to conquer the Arsenal Park Cup. This competition is already in its fourth edition, and this year it is part of the West Bike Tour 2014 competition series.
The competition categories and the corresponding number of laps will be:
1. under 14 years old open – special tour through the park
2. 14-17 years old open – 1 round
3. 18 – 29 years old (male/female) – 2 rounds
4. 30 – 39 years old (male/female) – 2 laps
5. 40 + (male/female) – 2 laps
6. ELITE – Open (18+) – 3 laps
One lap is 11 km.

Registration will take place:
• Online until July 31, 2014 at 11:59 p.m. on pedaleaza.ro or racingbikepro.ro
• On site, on the day of the competition - August 3, 2014 between 8:30 and 10:00 at the specially arranged place at the entrance to Arsenal Park
Registration and confirmation of online registration is done based on the identity card. Minor participants must be accompanied by a parent or the parent must complete the form attached to the website.
Registration fee = 30 lei online/50 lei on site
The prizes up for grabs will be generous and are the biggest prizes offered in such a contest:

Under 12 open category:
1st place: 100 lei, diploma and cup
2nd place: 70 lei, diploma and cup
3rd place: 50 lei, diploma and cup

Category 12-17 years open:
1st place: 300 lei, diploma and cup
2nd place: 200 lei, diploma and cup
3rd place: 100 lei, diploma and cup

Category 18-29 years old (male/female):
1st place: 300 lei, diploma and cup
2nd place: 200 lei, diploma and cup
3rd place: 100 lei, diploma and cup
Category 30-39 years old (male/female):
1st place: 300 lei, diploma and cup
2nd place: 200 lei, diploma and cup
3rd place: 100 lei, diploma and cup

Category 40 years + (male/female):
1st place: 300 lei, diploma and cup
2nd place: 200 lei, diploma and cup
3rd place: 100 lei, diploma and cup

ELITE open category:
1st place: 1000 lei, diploma and cup
2nd place: 700 lei, diploma and cup
3rd place: 500 lei, diploma and cup


The venue of the competition is Arsenal Park, Str. Codrului no. 25, Orastie, Hunedoara County. ARSENAL PARK is a 3-star holiday tourist complex, one of the few military-themed facilities in Europe. The 88 hectares of Arsenal Park offer countless opportunities: adventure, an open-air military museum, a playground in a disarming natural setting.
