Invites you to become part of an annual tradition in the process of being established, of cross country races.

In addition to discovering the picturesque beauties of this area, developing mountain biking with routes that cross the hills, valleys, streams, forests of the Apuseni Mountains in the Poiana Rusca Mountains area, you will also experience superb patches of history:

START&FINISH 2015 Edition
It is made from the outer courtyard of the Corvin Castle, a unique historical monument dating back to 1409.

Built between 1859 and 1871, the Mocanitei Road once connected the Furnace from Govajdia to the mining operation from Zlasti and then from Hunedoara.

With a speeding passage through the abandoned Catanas Tunnel, it is about 750 m long and is built of stone and brick.

A historical monument dating back to 1269, the Deva Fortress is one of the most important medieval fortifications in Transylvania.

ROUTES – COMPETITION CATEGORIES

In the Cross-Country section, we have prepared two routes, divided by difficulty categories – Hobby 30 km and Marathon 75 km – as well as age and gender. The routes have been designed for amateurs and professionals alike, so that all competitors can taste the wild beauties of Hunedoara County. The spectacular element will be presented by the XCO route, with a length of 3 km. The uniqueness of this route is that it takes place around the Corvin Castle, passing through its inner courtyard.

XCO ROUTE - 3 KM / MIN 5 LAPS

MAXIMUM DIFFICULTY – 3 km, minimum 5 laps, maximum difficulty, elevation difference 120 m

MARATHON RACE - 75 KM

AVERAGE / HIGH DIFFICULTY – 75 km, medium to high difficulty, elevation difference 2260 m

HOBBY ROUTE - 30 KM

LOW / MEDIUM DIFFICULTY – 30 km, low to medium difficulty, elevation difference 680 m
