Orca and Fortech Swimming and Triathlon Club organizes the eighth edition of the Cluj Triathlon on Saturday, July 29, 2023, held in the Tarnita Lake area. Together with the Tarnița Crossing, the Cluj Triathlon is part of the ENDURACE event series.

The area where the competition takes place is located at the tail of Tarnita Lake, a secluded area with direct access to the lake. The transition area is located nearby on the grass. The swimming event, 1500m, starts with a start from the water in an area where the lake is narrow but with clear water, winding through the forests on both sides of the lake. The cycling route starts on a forest road in the shade of the forest and continues along the lake shore, after which a beautiful and technical climb begins towards the village of Lapustesti. Once you reach the village of Lapustesti you will find the hydration and feeding point and a superb view overlooking the Somesului Cald valley. From here the rapid descent begins towards the tail of Lake Tarnita where the cycling event ends, after 30km and 690m positive difference in level. The running route will be through the forest, protected from the strong July sun.

Individual triathlon and relay:
- 1500 meters swim
- 30 km bike (MTB), 690m elevation gain.
- 9 km run

1500 m swim:
- 1500 meters swim with water start
