Description

On Sunday, 5.11.2017, we invite you to the long-awaited mountain bike tour, "Late Autumn with Bikes through Trascau - Aiudeana", which has reached its fourth edition. The invitation is addressed to the cycling groups Bicheru Cycling from Alba Iulia, Ciclism Turda, Ture bici pentru toti - Cluj, MTB Hunedoara and not only... and to all their friends.
- The tour is open to all cycling enthusiasts who are able to cover an average route of ~56km and ~1300m difference in level.
- To avoid any surprises, read the entire description below and make sure that if you invite your friends to this tour, they will be well informed too.
- The meeting will be in the parking lot in front of the "Bethlen Gábor" high school. Gathering at 08:15 so that we can start at 8:30.

Depending on the weather and any other suggestions we can adapt it, shorten it, etc.
- It is a Type "C+" tour
Difficulty level: MEDIUM with a few steep climbs.
Estimated technical data:
• length = 56km
• maximum elevation = 1010m
• difference in level (cumulative) = 1280m
• time required: 7-8 hours (about 4-5 of pedaling) (with beer, juices, pictures, stories, waiting for the tailbacks, everything)

EQUIPMENT

- Mountainbike (MTB), of quality (as much as possible) and functional!! it is still a mountainous area, forest roads, through the forest, on hilltops, etc.
- spare tire + patch kit - preferably individual
- mini bike repair kit - shared is OK (pump, Allen keys, small pliers, spare shifter/brake cables, etc.),
- water bottle,
- backpack for various individual things (10-25 liters),
- raincoat, even if the forecast is good!
- helmet / windbreaker / cap under the helmet (buff),
- sunglasses,
- camera / charged batteries (optional),
- front flashlight and possibly red lights for the back (if we get caught at night),
- bike clothes, a polar / windstopper (possibly also overpants + sheet),
- appropriate shoes (in past years a pushbike was also done),

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION
Please read the following section, it is important!!!

- The purpose of the trip is to feel good together, in a friendly, friendly trip, on bicycles (MTB), in the Apuseni Mountains, Trascau, during a whole day.
- There is no registration or participation fee.
- There is no obligation to register to participate. Registration on FB for the event is purely informative. Although it is not mandatory, we recommend that you register.
- Everyone comes at their own risk, there is no responsibility from the organizers or group responsibility, except at a friendly, friendly, natural and natural level.
- You can come or you can give up (although it would be a shame), as you wish, there is no obligation.
- You can also cover only part of the route and you can return to the cars faster, if you find the trip too long or too hard.
- On the route we will stop at a few village shops for a juice, a beer, a conversation - socializing.
Village shops at:

• Garbova de Sus - km ~48
At these shops we find biscuits, soft drinks, pretty much like at any village shop.
- The participants in this action, we declare on our own responsibility that we have a state of health appropriate to participate in mountain biking and mountain hiking activities, that we possess adequate equipment for these activities and have a sufficient level of training and experience to practice the respective activities, including the use of the equipment and the avoidance of accidents and incidents, that we undertake to have a decent and ecological behavior, to respect the organizational and safety instructions given by the action coordinators and any team leaders, if we are going to divide ourselves into several groups, and to have a behavior that prevents accidents or incidents suffered or created by us to other participants or third parties, that we do the arrival and departure to / from the starting point (Aiud) on our own, as well as the food, that we know and assume that there will be no team and / or accompanying or intervention vehicle and therefore we must prepare, behave and consider that we are on an independent, unassisted tour, that we assume responsibility for any incidents or accidents produced or suffered by us due to the fault of third parties, force majeure or unforeseen circumstances during this non-commercial and informal tour of active tourism and mountain sports in a group, as we know that we have no financial obligation to the organizers nor the rights and facilities of the clients of commercial tourist actions.
- Type tours: C+ are lighter leisure tours, however they require a minimum of training. They can have 50-70km with a moderate (cumulative) difference in level of approx. 500-1200hm. We go more leisurely (but not very slowly). Reasonable stops / breaks are made, for feeding, hydration, pictures, socializing. The routes are designed in such a way that in case of abandonment you can return on alternative routes (shortcuts). Everyone who has a minimum of training and a suitable bicycle (MTB) can participate in these tours. EXCEPT beginners who are on their first tour!
- We will NOT have platoon locks, so stay tuned!
