Led Trail Comana

Zavoi Trail, Run & MTB, which will take place in Comana, on the weekend of September 27-28, is a sports competition for Trail Running and Mountain Bike enthusiasts, held during two days in the heart of the Comana Natural Park, an area of ​​national interest, located between Bucharest and Giurgiu.

The event is organized by the Plogging Association for Romania, a national eco-sports movement that uses the power of sport to inspire concrete actions to protect the environment.

In addition to the competition, the participants will take part in Plogging actions, contributing to the ecologization of routes and protecting the local ecosystem.

Zavoi Trail Comana is not only a sports competition, but also an opportunity to raise awareness of the importance of a protected area and how we can explore it responsibly, without affecting nature. By movement and involvement, we learn how to be closer to the environment, actively protecting it.

Competition format includes two samples:

Trail Running - running on forest paths, through rough and spectacular land - with start on Saturday, September 27th

Mountain Bike (MTB)-off-road route through the forest and wetlands-Starting Sunday, September 28

The name "Zavoi" refers to the characteristics of the area-a forest located in a humid area-and the Comana Natural Park, also known as the "second Delta of Romania", offers a rich habitat, with an impressive biodiversity. Declared a protected area and part of the Natura 2000 network, the park houses numerous species of rare plants and animals, including the Romanian forest peony and species of protected birds at European level.
