Macin xc 2015

DIFFICULTY OF ROUTES:
- Amateur Route - 35 km - is not very physically demanding, has an easy-medium technicality, the most difficult part of it being the climb of approx. 6km in length, 3km after the start, then following a undulating route that goes along the main ridge of Macini. The route ends with a long descent of approximately 9km from the top of the mountains, through the village of Greci until the exit from it, and after another 3km of false-flat, it's done!

- Elite Route - 45 km - has 3 climbs that leave your soul behind and 3 spectacular but also dangerous descents. If the first climb is the same as the amateur ones, the next two (especially the last one - the career) only the best can climb on their bikes. Don't be fooled by the fact that the route is short, just think that you don't have much rest areas on these 45 km. We guarantee that the route is 99\% cycleable on dry land!

On both routes (much more percentage on the Elite one) there will be portions of stone and boulders. So be careful!
- The area is also famous for "old woman's fangs", the sharp fruit of a plant that makes the chambers sieve. We recommend with all our heart not to spoil the pleasure of the race and to equip yourself with anti-flat fluid (we speak from experience), thus eliminating most of them.
- We reserve the right to make changes to the routes, including the day before the competition (weather permitting), without however drastically changing their configuration or length.

CATEGORIES:
Amateurs - 35 km

ELITE - 45 km

KIDS RACE - short route in the starting area (lap)

Age categories:

ELITE open:
- 18 - 29 years
- 30 - 39 years
- 40+ years

Male amateurs:
- 16 - 19 years
- 20 - 29 years
- 30 - 39 years
- 40+ years

Female amateurs:
- 16 - 29 years
- 30+ years

The category in which fewer than 5 competitors register is merged with the immediately lower age category!

KIDS RACE:
A children's race will be organized in the forest in the start/finish area, with registration for the race being done on site, immediately after the start of the main competition. Parents or legal guardians will have to sign the registration, and the race will be held on a short off-road route, in laps, depending on the age of the registered competitors. HELMET is mandatory for children too!

REGISTRATION:
- Details about registration for MXC 2015 will appear when they are established
- The number of participants is NOT limited.
- Online registrations will end one week before the competition, Friday, May 29 (inclusive) at 24:00.

"BASIC" COMPETITION PACKAGE includes:
- race number
- timing
- catering coupon
- food points on the route
- participation diploma
- finisher medal (for those who finish the race)
- raffle coupon

PRIZES:
Depending on the generosity of the sponsors, in addition to diplomas, medals and trophies, products and other prizes will be awarded (cash only in the Elite category).
