The first stage of the Romanian Downhill Cup takes place in Cluj.

The route will be a mixed one, consisting of sections of the existing routes in the bike park and elements specially designed for this competition. The competition has a medium-advanced level and is intended for professional riders and mountain bike enthusiasts, with a minimum age of 13 years.

The competition will be held in 11 categories:

• Children A (M 13-14 years old / 2009-2010)

• Cadets (M 15-16 years old / 2007-2008)

• Juniors (M 17-18 years old / 2005-2006)

• Elite (M 19+ years / including 2004)

• Master 1 (M 30-39 years old / 1984-1993)

• Master 2 (M 40+ years / including 1974)

• Amateur 18+ (M 18+ years old / including 2005)

• Amateur 13-17 (M 13-17 years old / 2006-2010)

• Juniors (F 13-18 years / 2005-2010)

• Elite (F 19+ years / including 2004)

• Amateur (F 13+ years / including 2010)
