MTB GRAPES RACE

The competition will start from the Odobesti city park towards Măgura Odobesti, one of the landmarks of Vranceai county and a true pearl of Romania with an altitude of 996 m (the third highest hill in the country, after Chiciora hill – 1218 m and Mătău hill – 1017 m).
Only those who dare to take the long route will reach the top of Măgura, the short route turning left from its base.
The first half of the competition will be dominated only by climbing, and on the way back by technical descents and undulating paths.
Throughout the route you will have the opportunity to admire the riches of the Odobesti area, but also vast areas of dense forest, which hide two very important places of faith in the area – the Sfinti Voievozi Monastery and the Tarnita Monastery.
Upon their return, the competitors will be welcomed in a festive atmosphere, with party pasta bearing the Velopower imprint (those who were at the Panciu Road Race know!), music and stories from the route.
