Northern MTB Marathon Pomârla 2022
Event date: August 13, 2022
Location: Pomârla, Botoșani County
We are happy to announce the 12th edition of the MN MTB Pomârla, in 2022. The longest-running MTB competition in Moldova cordially invites you to the start on August 13, in the commune of Pomârla. We open registrations as early as 2021 because we know you are eager to see each other again. There is little left until summer! An experience marked by Zilele Nordului and CS Nord.
The MN MTB Pomârla routes start from the center of Pomârla Commune (in 2020, 600 years of attestation) and continue through the courtyard of Anastasie Bașotă High School, pass through the village of Hulubești, climb the Ibănești hills (Măgura Hill = 385 m), arrive in Racovăț where there is a customs crossing point with Ukraine (land), intersect DJ291C, cross the Jijiea water (right next to Hilișeu Crișan) and pass by an exceptional monument (a church from 1802, half Orthodox and half Catholic, symbol of the Hilișeu-Horia Commune). Next is the village of Corjăuți, where there is another old church from 1813, enter Pomârla and after a climb worthy of a real cycling competition, descend towards the finish in the Amphitheater/Start area.
