Saint geoge urban eliminator 2013

XCE Urban Eliminator (Cross-country Eliminator) is a new competition format for MTB lovers in which four cyclists compete in consecutive laps, to decide who qualifies further. The first two competitors qualify for the next round and the other two are eliminated from the competition! The route is 1200m, on which obstacles similar to those in nature will be installed!
The idea is to attract the audience closer to the race. On the route there are uphill / downhill sections as well as stairs or narrow sections.
You are expected on September 14, 2013 in Sfantu Gheorghe, Covasna, for the first XCE competition in Romania, organized by the Sepsi bike association.

Urban Eliminator is organized on September 14, 2013 in the municipality of Sfântu Gheorghe, Covasna County, just 30 km from Brașov. The organizer of this event is the "Sepsi bike" Association, an association whose main objective is to promote cycling.



Registration for this event can only be done online by accessing the "Registration" module until September 10 this year!

Please note that the number of participants is limited to 150 participants.

Each registration will be validated after confirmation of payment, which must be made within a maximum of 5 days of online registration.

XCE Urban Eliminator begins with the collection of competitor packages on September 14 from 8:00 to 9:45 from the registration tent.

On-site registration is NOT possible.

When picking up the packages, each competitor signs the competition sheet and draws a start number that must be attached to the handlebars.



Route recognition

Each competitor is required to complete a minimum of 2 laps of the route. Entry to the route is only through the START gate and can only be done with the competition number

placed on the handlebars.

The route can only be completed in the direction of travel. Any competitor who does not respect the direction of travel and does not start from the START will be disqualified.



Qualification

In the qualification lap, competitors start from 30 - 30" based on the start numbers. At the START there is the possibility that the competitor will be

supported by an official so that he can keep both feet on the pedals. There is only one timed lap based on which the

qualification order is made. If there are identical results, the competitor who qualifies is drawn.

64 competitors qualify, from which there will be series of 4 that will compete in the Urban Eliminator. Each series runs 2 laps of the track to decide the winners of the series.

From each series, the first two competitors who reach the FINISH qualify. And so from the winners, other series of 4 will be made up until 8 competitors remain who will decide the final ranking.



Participation fee

The participation fee is 60 ron and is paid to the association's account or can also be paid at our headquarters in Sf. Gheorghe.

Route

The route is an urban one in the middle of the city peppered with obstacles to imitate off-road conditions.

It has a length of 1.2 km and is a combined route of asphalt, gravel, cubic stone and grass.
