Sibiu cycling tour
Description
The Sibiu Cycling Tour 2025 is an international road cycling competition, now in its 15th edition, which will take place between July 3 and 6, 2025 in Sibiu County.
The stages of the competition are as follows:
July 3, 2025: Stage I – Sibiu – Blaj – Mediaș – Sibiu.
July 4, 2025: Stage II – Sibiu – Bâlea Lac, including the ascent on the Transfăgărășan.
July 5, 2025: Stage III – Sibiu – Păltiniș, a mountain stage ending in the Păltiniș resort.
July 6, 2025: Stage IV – Individual time trial in the historic center of Sibiu.
At this anniversary edition, the organizers promise the participation of top teams from the world circuit, maintaining the competition's tradition of attracting World Tour and Pro Continental teams.
The Sibiu Cycling Tour is recognized for its spectacular routes, which test cyclists' skills both on flat terrain and on difficult mountain climbs, while offering impressive views of the Transylvanian landscapes.
