Subcarpati Epic MTB 2022

Location: Prahova, Maneciu
The Subcarpati Epic MTB competition has a series of circuit-type routes, with the start and finish in the commune of Măneciu, the start and finish being located in front of the Măneciu City Hall.
Subcarpati Epic MTB awaits you with spectacular landscapes in the area of the Măneciu dam and the subcarpathian hills in the Upper Teleajen Valley area. Traveling along the banks of the Măneciu dam, the Costeni, Chiciureni and Plăieț hills will offer you an unforgettable experience, with climbs and descents, rest areas, where you can admire the subcarpathian and mountain landscapes in the Upper Teleajen Valley area.
The marathon race (big race) will take place on Saturday (September 24, 2022), starting at 10:00. The marathon route is 40 km long and the elevation gain is almost 1150 meters. The highest point of the route is on the Chiciureni hill at 810 m from where you can admire the Tătaru, Grohotiș and Clăbucetul Măneciului mountains.
The MTB half-marathon route is 20 km long and the elevation gain is approximately 500 meters.
Subcarpați Epic MTB also has routes prepared for children according to age categories: 3-5 years (1.3 km), 6-8 years (2.6 km), 9-11 years (9 km) and 12-14 years (18 km).
