Description
Thermal Enduro is a rally-type Enduro competition, where only the descents are timed. The routes will be 5 in number, generally on downhill paths, with a few pedaling sections on flat areas: two technical routes and three simpler ones. The connecting stages between the 5 routes are easy climbs designed in such a way that they are not a problem for those who are less trained or resistant to climbing on a bike.
Enduro is a fairly new discipline in the world of cycling, and for those who are not familiar with it, we must specify that it is not a DH (downhill) competition nor an XC (cross country) competition.
Enduro competitions and routes of this type are not recommended for beginners or cyclists who are not at all trained. The routes on which the tests are held are 90% downhill and also have a few sections of a higher technical level, where mistakes mean a loss of precious time.
The start of the race is in groups of 5 competitors between 10:00 and 11:40. Competitors will start the race depending on the category and group in which they will register and will be required to respect the start time (received upon registration), from each special stage.
