Transylvanian rippers 2013

The Transylvania Skateboard Sports Club in partnership with the Cluj-Napoca City Hall and RockFM, invites you from September 6 to 8 to Transylvanian Rippers, an extreme sports festival. The event will take place in the Rozelor Skatepark in Cluj-Napoca and is in its second edition.

Rozelor Skatepark is the most important project of our club, which for four years has been struggling to achieve. It is the first skatepark in the country executed after a project carried out by extreme sports practitioners, being one of the most complex and well-built.

Transylvanian Rippers is the largest event of its kind in Transylvania. The competitions within the festival will be skateboarding, in-line and BMX. They will be in a jam-session format and the jury for each category will be made up of three referees. For each discipline, depending on the number of registered competitors, there will be two age categories, juniors (up to 18 years old) and seniors. The registration fee for the competitions is 50 lei on site or 30 lei if you register in advance on the competition website. Competitors will fight for the “The Ripper” trophy, with the first three places in each category being rewarded. The event will take place over three days, with qualifications, finals and best trick. In addition to the best athletes from the country, competitors from abroad have also confirmed their presence.

The event’s sound will be provided by Marwan Dua, Jaheyo, NDJ, DJMikeone, NikkiFM, TorsoBooking, and will be complemented by a La Conti party on the evening of the finals. B-boy demonstrations will delight your attention, and if you want to support Skateboard Transilvania, visit us at our stand!
