Cheile nera mountainbike & trail run race 2017

The Cheile Nerai Mountainbike race is in its 4th edition. The idea of this competition arose from our desire to promote tourism in this truly special area as well as to help a noble cause, namely the provision of medical equipment to a children's hospital.

The inaugural edition in 2014 attracted 222 competitors from the country, as well as from abroad (Serbia, Austria) and over 500 participants in the entire event.

In the 2nd edition, we developed the competition by introducing an Elite route (70km), and, despite the fact that we had extremely unfavorable weather conditions on the day of the competition, we had over 280 competitors, including the Romanian Mountainbike champion.

The 3rd edition brought a total of 550 competitors. In addition to the 2 mountain bike trails, we also introduced a mountain running trail.

This year we want to develop the event again, adding another route option to the mountain running competition, a competition organized this year in partnership with Alergotura Timișoara. As every year, in addition to the cycling competition, we will also organize a concert after its completion, in the open air.
