First escape 2017
Description
The First Escape is a friendly cross-country cycling competition that aims to open the MTB marathon season in an easy version, without differences in level. For several years, it has become the cycling marathon with the largest number of participants and the best organized in Eastern Europe.
The competition takes place between Bucharest and Snagov through forests and country roads over a distance of 55 km. Year after year it is the marathon with the largest number of participants, surpassing its own record at each new edition. Last year 2927 participants between 5 and 73 years old from 29 countries registered. In 2011, even in rainy and muddy conditions, 1300 competitors participated, making it an unforgettable edition.
