Iasi Sports Festival 2023 was born from the desire to promote a sustainable and healthy lifestyle for the residents of Iași and not only through the practice of recreational and educational sports.

The event will take place over 3 days between June 2-4, 2023 and aims to unite those who practice different sports, develop a quality social life, and build a competitive spirit. We estimate the growth in the popularity of this event over time and we want it to become an annual event of the city of Iași.

We invite the community of people who have a passion for riding two wheels off-road on more or less technical terrain to join us, to enjoy the trails that the Iași area offers us.

Short route - Mountain bike 15 KM
A short and not very technical route, rich in landscapes specific to the hills near the city of Iași. This event is accessible to all beginners, the route being an easy one with a few technical sections. The same hills around Iași will be alongside competitors throughout the route.
Route description:
The start will be in the La Castel Hotel Parking Lot. We will go on the asphalt to the Grand View Salon, then we will follow the path through the Breazu Forest. After that, we will go out on a field road and return through the vineyards of the Viticulture Research Station, until we return to Grand View Salon, from where we will reach the finish on the same route as the start.

Long route - Mountain bike 24 KM Wink
On the long road, many friends. This test is aimed at both those who have an average or advanced level of mountain biking, and at established cyclists who want to achieve a fast race. The same hills around Iași will be next to the competitors throughout the route.
Route description:
The start will be in the La Castel Hotel Parking Lot. We will go on the asphalt to Grand View Salon, then we will follow the path through the Breazu Forest, We will go to Vânători Village, where we will cross next to the bike under the E583 bridge. We will go past the football field, climb the Hill between Vulturi and Cuza Vodă, descend towards Cuza Vodă and return to Vulturi. We return to the football field, then we pass under the bridge again, past the bike. From here we return to Hotel La Castel.

E-bike Race 24 KM
Long way, many friends. This race is aimed at those who want to enjoy cycling as much as possible, without having to struggle too much. The same hills around Iași will be with the competitors throughout the route.
Route description:
The start will be in the Parking Lot of Hotel La Castel. We will go on the asphalt to the Grand View Salon, then follow the path through the Breazu Forest. We will go to the Vânători Village, where we will cross next to the bicycle under the E583 bridge. We will go next to the football field, climb the Hill between Vulturi and Cuza Vodă, go down to Cuza Vodă and return to Vulturi. We return to the football field, then we pass under the bridge again, next to the bicycle. From here we return to the La Castel Hotel.
