Mammoth bike race 2015

The length of the competition route is approximately 30km, and the positive elevation difference is a maximum of 1000m.
The event, scheduled for September 12, 2015, is an outdoor competition held largely through
the forest near the municipality of Alba Iulia. The route will include areas of asphalt (the new bike path), dirt,
gravel, boulders and grass (forest roads and tourist trails). Following the route you will reach lookout areas
over the city, as well as on Mamut peak (altitude 765m), with an excellent panorama towards Pietrele Ampoiței and Piatra Craivii.
The event takes place starting from the recreational base in the Mamut area, built to offer Alba Iulia residents
and tourists a space designed for picnics and recreation.

The competition categories are Male (14-18 years, 19-29 years, 30-39 years, 40+) and Female (14-29 years, 30+).
Rankings are made for the specified categories, as well as an overall ranking.
The top 3 (three) finishers in each category will be awarded.
Cash prizes, diplomas and medals are awarded, as well as possible products offered by sponsors and partners.
