Rocket bike fest 2013

Rocket Bike Fest is a cross country cycling competition that aims to support a healthy lifestyle and promote cycling as a way to spend your free time. The event aims to welcome all nature lovers and sports enthusiasts, with the objective of raising awareness of autism and supporting integration programs for children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders.

The competition will take place on JUNE 1 in the Cernica Forest on a 12 km loop that will be covered at least twice by competitors, depending on the chosen category. The route will be friendly, with small differences in level, mainly on forest paths. Children will be able to compete on specially designed routes and will receive surprises and gifts throughout the day.

The event will be hosted by Phoenix Adventure Park, a 2.5 ha location, where competitors and their supporters will be able to complete eight climbing routes with progressive difficulty and engage in various paintball scenarios.

Funds collected from the registration fee will be directed to the HelpAutism Association in order to support free programs for children within the Early Diagnosis and Early Intervention Center in Autism, located on Str. Delea Nouă no. 36, sector 3.

Routes:

Children's Route – Will be arranged in the Phoenix Adventure Park with a low degree of difficulty.
Family Route – It will cover forest roads and forest paths.
Hobby and Elite Route – It will take place mainly on forest paths alternating fast passages, rhythm breaks, short climbs, forest roads and single trails on the lakeshore. The terrain will have sections where it will be bumpy and increased attention is recommended on the lake shore.

Registration fee

• Period 22.04 – 05.05 - 45 lei
• Period 06.05 – 15.05 - 60 lei
• Period 16.05 – 30.05 – 80 lei

The registration fee for children aged between 3 and 10 years (Children category) is 20 lei regardless of the registration period.

No more registrations are made on the day of the competition (June 1, 2013).
