The secular oaks

We announce that we are organizing the 3rd edition of the MTB XC STEJARII SECULARI competition.
The meeting point at the start will be in the same clearing guarded by those secular oaks that gave the name to the competition we are organizing.
Through this event we want to create a tradition in the MTB XCO branch in Cristian commune and in Brasov county, as far as we know it is the only competition exclusively intended for XCO in this county.
The route will keep the characteristics that we know from previous editions, forest roads, paths, steep climbs, but also smooth, suitable descents, siglé track, all of these being covered on a route of approximately 5 km for amateurs and 7 km for advanced. We do not claim that the route is perfect, modifications are possible and we even expect suggestions from the competitors.
The number of competitors is 180 participants, with an additional 20 places being possible.
Registrations start on February 15, 2015.
