The first documentary attestation of the city of Pucioasa appears in 1649. The first road cycling race in the city of Pucioasa occurs 369 years later through The Wall – RGT Pucioasa. There are two types of route, one of 57 km for those with less time for training and one of 108 km for the brave and prepared, that is, almost two laps. Similar to the matchbox theory (formed by the top, the middle and the bottom), each lap of this large circuit takes us over a small climb, an average one and a rather tough but beautiful one, known to most cyclists in the area. It is called Sultanu’, a small “Wall”.
