Topoloveni bike adventure 2015
Description
Topoloveni Bike Adventure is a mountain bike marathon competition in its second edition, which will take place on April 26, 2015 with the support of the Topoloveni City Hall and CS Top Arena Topoloveni. This project aims to promote cycling but also sports in general. We want to satisfy the desire to assert ourselves of any person who wants to start this sport, but also the training of those who are already experienced. The route is of easy to medium difficulty, with a length of 35 km, so that people with any type of training can participate in the race, from amateurs or those who are at their first sports competition of this kind, to professionals, children aged at least 14 years, adults or elderly people.
The organizers recommend a minimum of physical training, so that the participant does not encounter problems throughout the event. We also call for fair play behavior from the competitors, without aggression of any kind (verbal/physical, etc.). The competitor must yield to another cyclist in the race if he is signaled to do so, but also to help other competitors if they are injured.
The competition takes place in a perfectly organized setting, and the participant will be safe only if he fully respects the event regulations. There will also be an ambulance crew in the start finish area, in case of any injuries.
Any person who starts the "Topoloveni Bike Adventure" competition on April 26, 2015 assumes their participation at their own risk through the declaration that they will sign and hand over to the organizer on the day of the competition, at the starting location, between 9:00 - 11:00.
Each participant is required to have the competition number visible on the bicycle, throughout the entire route, a number that will be provided by the organizers on the day of the competition before the start, between the present times and in the "schedule" section (9:00 - 11:00).
ATTENTION: Wearing a protective helmet is mandatory!
Participation in the race by minors under 14 years of age is FORBIDDEN!
Conditions for Disqualification/Abandonment - a competitor may be disqualified:
– If he deviates from the route made and marked by the organizers. These deviations can be found by the organizers by notifying another competitor or by notifying one of the referees placed on the route.
– If it lacks the fair play behavior presented above.
– If they do not wear a protective helmet throughout the entire route.
– If they throw any type of garbage on the route that can harm the environment.
– It is strictly forbidden for any competitor to change bikes during the course.
