We invite all amateur cyclists and cycling sports clubs to Transfăgărășan Challenge, giving them the chance to pedal a 37 km stretch, between Albota and Bâlea lac, of the most spectacular road in Romania.
Transfagarasan Challenge is a captivating event for amateur cyclists, which takes place as part of the Sibiu Cycling Tour, a race preceding the professional competition.
The objective of the Transfăgărășan Challenge is to offer amateur cyclists the chance to enjoy an amazing race on the most spectacular road in Romania. The event is open to all local, national and international amateur cyclists, both women and men (over 18 years old), offering everyone the feeling of a professional race. The competition is scheduled within the Sibiu Cycling Tour, as a preliminary race to the professional competition.
