Transilvania Bike Trails Race - Saschiz 2022

The short/blue route, 24km, is designed for those who are less experienced and less trained, it is for families, it is for children who have some experience. It is not easy, it has climbs and descents. It passes through a single fortification, at Cloașterf where there is also a fuel point.
The Short Route, even though it is only 24km long, is still demanding for beginners and requires a little skill for the descents on the cobblestone forest (control your speed by lightly braking, using more of the rear brake and less of the front). Be cautious in the areas of descent on asphalt as well.

The Medium/fluorescent green Route, 42km long, is more complex, passing through more villages, more fortified churches (Meșendorf, Criț, Cloașterf, Saschiz), more fuel points, more varied terrain.

The Long/pink Route, 77km long, is more complete and covers almost the entire area of the revived Saxon villages. The route also passes through Viscri and the fortified church in Bunești.

For pre-selection and differentiation of competitors after the start, the narrow path will be entered later so that it is more balanced in terms of value. Thus, after the climb to the asphalt, a longer portion of meadows will follow and then the built path will be entered.

The main race, which is also the stage of the Romanian Cup at long distance, will be on Sunday, August 14, 2022, and the laps, secondary competitions, concerts, outings with different guides, parties, workshops from craftsmen, various schools, thematic excursions, film screenings will be from Thursday to Monday (August 11-15).

We will have more activities, categories, competitions for children, more concerts, special guests, more diversified food (if such a thing is possible :), Not to mention the portions of bullocks at the stake.

We will integrate more routes and Sighisoara with the newly paved path.
We are trying to generate more small culinary and musical events, in the most beautiful courtyards of the most beautiful villages with castle houses.
We will have a special tour with a break in Mesendorf to celebrate the 700th anniversary of the beautiful village we are passing through.
